The purpose of this ministry is to create an environment for young people to study the Word of God with understanding. The Youth Leaders give the children the tools they need to practically apply the word of God in their everyday life.

• Nursery - Ages 6 weeks to 2 years old
• Pre-school - Ages 3 to 4 years old
• Elementary - Grades K to 5th
• The Source - Ages 13 to 18 years old
• Daughters of Purpose - Ages 13 to 18 years old
• Sons of Honor - Ages 13 to 18 years old

The purpose of this ministry is to spread the Word of God through television. This ministry team is responsible for the recording, editing and production of sermons for our television broadcast.

The purpose of this ministry is to provide world-class customer service and information to all members, guests, or visitors that attend any of our services or special events here at The River. Member Services personnel are also responsible for maintaining the church Information Desk and assisting with various administrative duties during service times and special events.

At the River of Life, we believe that a part of your faith is going beyond the building, out into the world to help others. Every group represented at The River from our Life Groups to our Christian seniors participates in not only local outreach efforts but also worldwide missions.   Our Outreach ministries include:

The purpose of this ministry is to assist with the planning, facilitating, and follow-up of all special events and activities.

First impressions are always the best impressions.  The Ushers and Greeters at the River of Life strive to make you feel special from the moment they greet you at the door until they shake your hand as you leave.  One of the most honorable positions at The River is to serve as a doorkeeper at the house of God.

The purpose of this ministry is to greet the people as they enter the church. They assist in maintaining order during worship services.

They are one of many ministries making a first impression on new and existing members.  We specialize in excellence by serving fresh baked products to pouring up premium brands of coffee and cappuccinos. Stopping by our café has become a “must” for many of The River visitors and members every Sunday. If it’s not the best…you won’t find it in Holy Grounds Cafe!

Providing a safe and secure atmosphere for our pastors, members, and guests is our top priority.  This ministry provides special guest escorts, interior crowd monitoring, perimeter coverage, and parking lot surveillance as well as property protection. Our security services are further enhanced with on-site local law enforcement agencies.  The purpose of this ministry is to provide internal and external security during our worship services and church events.

The purpose of this ministry is to cover our Pastors, First Family, Staff, the church, the members and those requesting prayer. We intercede on behalf of others for God’s will to be done.

New Beginnings is a mandatory course of study for all new members at the River of Life Christian Center. The instructors teach a course that is designed to impart Biblical knowledge of the Word of God that will help establish a foundation for a successful Christian life. (This position is appointed by the Pastors)

At the River, you’ll find our worship experience requires a lot high-energy stage productions. This involves everything from specialized lighting and video productions.   Our Production team consists of highly trained individuals working together to make this happen. We utilize the latest in computer software such as Pro-Presenter, Pro-Tools, and Final Cut Pro to name a few.

The purpose of this ministry is to provide excellence in sound so that the Word of God, music and announcements are heard with clarity and excellence. This ministry team is also responsible for all audio recording.

They are responsible for greeting and serving special guests, and at the special events at the River of Life Christian Center.  Our main objective is to be a blessing to our guests by demonstrating a heart to serve and assist with the Coffee Shop.

It is the goal of the River of Life Christian Center Worship Arts Ministry to effectively minister the Word of God through music and arts and to bring the church to a true, life-changing praise experience; to hold fast to the commandments given in Colossians 3:16 which instructs us to “let the word of Christ dwell in us richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord”. 

It is our earnest desire to empower the believer to deepen their relationship with God through the power of Praise & Worship and prepare them to hear the word being taught. They help prepare the hearts of the people to receive the preached word through anointed music, mime, dance, and drama. Worship & Arts Ministries include Band, Frontline Singers, Choir, Dance, Drama, Stage Hand & Step Team.

The Facilities Management Department is committed to providing quality maintenance and operational support to all departments of the River of Life Christian Center.  The staff is committed to a service approach to maintenance and operations with the timeliest response consistent with staffing, workload, and quality.

This ministry is made up of members with medical backgrounds.  They will assist and assess any emergency that may occur during any church services or any events held by the River.  You must have a medical background and able to perform life support (CPR).
